Thanks Mike & Pam! What wonderful classmates we have!  I'm hoping with all the inquiries about keeping the web site going, more people will donate.  This is such an easy way to keep in touch and up to date on everyone.

Also, the first person who stepped forward to pay for a year is Sharon Althaus.  Thank you so much Sharon - I think it means alot to everyone to be able to keep this site going.

Hi all from sunny and hot  Hilton Head SC,
Just added some general pictures of the reunion taken by my wife, Dee. Along with the great pictures John Wyatt took, I hope all classmates, those that were there and those that were not able to attend, can enjoy the special moments enjoyed by all.

God Bless,

Bruce

Looks like I missed a good party. I am glad everyone had such a great time. Maybe by the 45th reunion I'll be able to get there from Los Angeles.

Sorry I missed such a wonderful time folks. It was so wonderful seeing the pictures of all of you after the fact, and reading these happy reunion messages.

I also have a pretty large party place in the heart of Anderson Township. At the corner of Clough and Wolfangel. I have 2 1/2 acres, and 2 houses next to each other. I use the original house that is 250 years old for a guest house, and live in the house behind that my father and I built 15 yrs ago. I would be happy to have a picnic get to gather some time over the summer months.

I invested in a little Bistro in Newtown that my daughter has, called Tall Tails Bistro, on the corner of Church and Valley Streets. It is small but a nice place to mee and eat also. I have to check out Dennis Clepper's place.

Picture of my youngest, Kim (L) and me (R).

For anyone interested, Gary Gibson will be in town next week from Washington State.  Some of us are going to meet him for lunch on Friday, June 25th from 12 -3pm at Batavia Station - Dennis Clepper's restaurant in Batavia.  If you will be joining us, please let me know so that I can let Dennis know how many will be there.

Also, we have some of the candy jars left over that were on the dinner tables.  If you would like to have one, let me know.

Unfortunately, due to our schedules, my wife, Carol and I weren't able to come to the reunion but I look forward to seeing anyone who can stop by next Friday at Batavia Station. We are arriving in Cincy on Thursday, 6/24 and departing the following Wednesday. Thanks to Nancy and Jane for mentioning my trip! By the way, those are some great pictures!!

Gary,

Sorry you could not make it to the reunion.  I'm already back in GA, so won't be able to make it to Batavia Station for another get together.  Have fun everyone :)  take more pics and post them on the site.

Hey Jo Ann, no problem. Originally, this luncheon wasn't planned. It sort of evolved after I had some email correspondence with Jane about possibly meeting for  lunch. She later discussed that with Nancy at the reunion and that is how this came about. We didn't know we were going to be able to come back to Cincy, at this time, until about 2 weeks ago. I'm sure there are a lot of classmates who have to work at that time or live further away so I don't have any expectations and it will be nice to see whoever is able to come. We are looking forward to seeing friends, family, going to Kings Island, and eating some Skyline chili!

Thanks everyone for such a great reunion. You all did an excellent job of planning!!! I t was so good to see everyone and thanks for joining us at the restaurant on Thur. Looking forward to seeing everyone real soon.

Gary, you mentioned Skyline!!  I pigged out on it while up there.  Still miss it after all these years...not the same when I buy it in a can down here.  Have a great time while your home and hope we see you at the 45th.

Jo Ann, you are so right. Skyline is not the same out of the can! My wife, Carol, likes it even more than me and shes not from Cincy. She could eat it multiple times a day! Anyway, I'm sure we will pig out once we get there. You can bet I won't ride any Kings Island roller coasters right after I've had some. Thanks and hope to see you in the future!

Thanks to all who came to see Gary and Carol Gibson at Batavia Station Friday, 6/25--of course, our hosts, Dennis and Debbie Clepper, Nancy Allen, Rick Dixon, Rose, Martha Wilkins, Carolyn Kelley, Dave Stultz, Barry and Karen Woodruff and Gary Rosenhoffer!  The mini reunion was so nice--just too short but that's a good thing, right?!

Sorry, almost forgot, I only got a few pictures of Gary's visit but I added them to the my reunion pictures slideshow!

Thanks Jane. I was in that part of town a little later in the day and missed it. It looks like you all had a good time. I see I also missed old friend Barry Woodruff. I did however catch up with Pam Jansen at her home and business. She said that she heard some news about Sherry Rapien...but I don't want to type in anything here that may only be a rumor. Has anyone else heard anything?

In case anyone else has been trying to call Catherine King Hassan and hasn't been able to get through it is because she fell early Saturday morning and was taken by ambulance to Bethesday North.  She is ok, didn't break or bruise anything but she feels that because her oxygen hose had been shortened and she had to disconnect from the machine when she got to the bathroom she got light headed and next thing you know she was on the floor.

She does feel it has been a 'blessing in disguise' as now she has been assigned a kidney specialist and is very hopeful of her entire situation.  She was due to go home from the Arbors Wednesday but now where she will end up is up in the air.  I think it is great since as we all know, hospitals are in the business of diagnosing and curing while nursing homes merely 'maintain' and less.

Her phone number at Bethesda North is 865-6760

Let's all keep praying!!!

It was really nice to see you guys at Batavia Station.  Sorry I couldn't stay and visit longer and sorry I missed what sounded like a great reunion.  I will be checking this site often and hopefully will get more time to spend with you all.  Gail and I did visit Kathy at the Arbors and plan on going to see her again, thanks for the update on her.  Perhaps we can visit with her at home.  Take care all and hope to see you soon.

Carol and I just returned to Seattle, today. I want to thank everyone who came out to Batavia Station last Friday. I had a blast! It was fun reliving those moments some of us shared from grade school right on through high school. I had almost forgot about those swats I got until Rick Dixon brought it up! They did hurt! Also, when we were kids, I used to ride Dennis Kelley around on my handle bars through the neighborhood. Crazy stuff but funny. Everybody there looked good. Thanks again to Jane and Nancy for putting this together. Also, a big thanks to Jane for paying for the meal! Finally, thanks to Dennis Clepper for providing the room at his restaraunt. It was a great place to chat, eat, and drink. The only other comment, I have, is man was it ever hot while we were there...
