Hi Nancy--I have a couple of pictures of Gary Rosenhoffer in those I sent you--he is standing by the far wall w/his good friend, Karen.  They aren't very close up, I know.  If those didn't get through, I'll send them again.

Just wondering if anyone went to the picnic on Aug. 14 that the class of 1969 had invited our class to.

I had planned to go but the heat was so oppressive

I just couldn't make it.

Jim,

I know how the heat can be.  I probably wouldn't have gone either.  I am currently in Tenn. and there have been days where the heat index was about 117.  Sure will be glad to see cooler weather!

Did anyone have info about Marge Sheridan's death? We tried so hard to find her.

I read today that Karen Stith's mother past away on the 9th.

Hi Jo - Jane Jurich may have some information about Marge, she went to the funeral or I could contact her sister Mary Ann.

Gail,

Thanks for the phone# for Mary Ann.  I wanted to get in touch with her to see if she has a recent picture of Margie that she could send to me.  I wanted to put it in the Memory Book that I'm putting together from the reunion.  I have it all ready to go with the exception of Margie's picture.

Hello Everyone--I have another need for prayer for Catherine King Hassan.

Catherine was told that she needs to have her foot amputated tomorrow.

The amputation site is in the calf region where they will hope to eliminate all the infection that has overwhelmed her foot and ankle.  She is in Anderson Mercy Hospital in room #219 and after the surgery will then go back to the nursing home she was in during the summer, The Arbors in Milford. I can't even imagine how difficult this is for her but I know she would love to hear from anyone from the class.  She asked that you all keep her in your prayers.  Thank you.

Jane, how is Cathy doing? Was the operation successful?

Passing on a "thank you" from Catherine Hassan for all your thoughts and prayers.  She has been in Drake Hospital for two weeks but will be going to Clermont Nursing Home next to Clermont Mercy Hospital for strengthening.  No one is certain as to how long she will be there.  I will post her address as soon as I know it.  Thanks again

Thanks Jane for keeping us informed about Cathi.  I sure wish I was close enough to visit her, but we are in Florida for the winter now.  My thoughts & prayers are with her.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my class mates.

Hope that all is well with everyone.  Special thoughts go out

to Cathy (King) Hassan, and any others that may be sick and suffering.

Mike, Congrats on your new grandson.  I know the feeling as I have three

grandsons myself, 18 yrs, 8 yrs, and 18 months old.  They are an absolute

joy to me and my husband.. we love them to pieces.

Best wishes to all for a safe and happy holiday.

Congratulations Mike & Pam!  Being a grandparent is the greatest.  The bad thing is they grow up too fast just like our children did.

I have already started thinking about our picnic next summer.  I will contact Rick Dixon and be sure he is still willing to have it at his place and then decide on a date.   I was thinking about having it around the same time in June,  depending on what Rick says.

Don't forget - there are still lots of classmates that we haven't found.  Hopefully with some help from everyone, we can find more people for next year.

Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Greetings All

Mike congratulations on the grandchild!

Was somewhat caught up with my work, not to mention it was downpouring all day Tuesday (11/30) so I stopped by to visit Cathy King Hassan. We chatted for almost two hours while she was going through physical therapy, so the therapist got to enjoy all of our banter about high school. It was a great visit.

Looking forward to that picnic!

Congratulations, Mike & Pam, on your new Grandson!! That's exciting, especially when it's your first. Steve and I have a 4 1/2 month old grandson ourselves & we are hopelessly "over-the-moon" about him. We have 3 granddaughters, but this is our first boy & the girls are so thrilled to have a little brother. You enjoy your grandbaby & start the spoiling!!

Hi  everyone!  It;s been awhile since I checked in and am so sorry to hear the news about Cathi.  I hope she is doing better and she goes through therapy and will offer prayers for her as well.

Congrats PaPa Mike on the new addition!   We found out a few months ago that grandchild number 4 is in the "hangar" to use some old Air Force jargon.  This will be child number two for my son and his wife and we are looking forward for another grandchild to fill our hearts and to spoil endlessly.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Happy New Year, Everyone!

Well are we up for another reunion again this year?  I am in the beginning stages of planning a picnic if there is enough interst.

Let me know if you have any suggestions or requests!

Judi Hays (DeGraw)

God Bless Cathi...I sent her a Christmas card...hope she got it.

Congratulations, Mike, on the 1st grandchild.

I hope everyone had a blessed holiday season.

I would love to attend another reunion event.  I plan to visit family this spring/summer and I will try to make it coincide with the picnic if I can get enough advance notice on the date.

Jo, Nancy, and Bruce....I am happy to help with the plans.   Just give me a holler!

Hello folks!  Happy New Year!  I hope this year continues to bless all of you.  A picnic this summer would be wonderful although my youngest daughter is expecting her first child on June 15th so that might interfere with me attending.  Does anyone know how Cathi is doing now?  Love and peace to you all!  Vicki

I was thinking about having the picnic in July rather than June.  Maybe the weather would cooperate a little more.  Any thoughts from anyone?

Nancy

June...July...whatever works for the majority...as long as we all try to get together !!!
