I graduated from EKU in 1975 with a degree in Political Science but went into retail in both buying and store management positions when I couldn't find a teaching position. Met my husband at Mabley & Carew. We moved to Akron, Washington DC, St. Louis, Memphis,Jacksonville,Chicago, back to Cincinnati and am now in Phoenix, Arizona. I had been with Stein Mart for almost 30 years when I retired as a District Director of Stores. BTW - Brian was the Valedictorian of Glen Este High School's class of 2008 and a National Merit Finalist. I have been blessed through the years with family and friends and rich experiences.

Lots of fun memories. One that comes to mind is the time in Sociology class when we had to write a response to the queston 'WHY" and everyone was working very hard and Mark Denton was done in seconds. When we gave our responses Mr. K was upset over Mark's answer which was 'Why Not?" Ha! Lots of yearbook memories-getting out of class all the time, Measuring coach's chests for vests made by the FHA,making blueberry muffins in Home Ec for Mr. Click (I got an A in Biology!)Pep rallies and bon fires, Student Council meetings,Awards Day and so many good friends! Each time I went up to the school for my kids I always had to smile as it brought back the memories of so many good times,great teachers and wonderful friends.
