CAROLYN S. SPICER MOORE

Being a poetry lover since early childhood, I remember Mrs. Gire sitting on a desk in her red suit reading "The Highwayman" to the class.

I also remember Mr. Stites telling me to sleep in Spanish class, after I stayed up all night to complete my senior paper. What heart!

I began my career in education as an elementary school teacher in 1963. I retired as an elementary school principal in 2006. I loved working with my colleagues, the children and their parents from the beginning to the end of my career. I recently moved to St. Louis to be near my daughter and grandson. I live in nearby St. Charles. I love playing tennis, painting, reading, and live theater. Life is good!
