
Norman Willis, 66, passed away on Friday, June 25, 2010. The son of Benjamin and Frances Willis, he was born on August 25, 1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio where he attended Walnut Hills High School and the University of Cincinnati. Norm started in the electrical business at the age of sixteen and was the youngest person to earn his Master Electrical License in Northern Kentucky. After moving to Miami, he founded Summit Electric Corporation in 1972.
He is survived by Judy, his wife of 20 years, son Jeffrey, daughter Kari, and four grandchildren.
Norm was very active in the electrical industry and nurtured the careers of many students and dedicated employees. He had a love of travel, the mountains of North Carolina, music, model trains, and woodworking.

Private services were held. Shiva will be observed at his residence on Tuesday and Wednesday at 7 pm.
