Thank you Donna. It's been about 70 it more years that we've been friends. Good to hear from you. Hope all's well with you and yours.

MESSAGE TO ALL,

I just got the news from Mark about Gwyn's death.  Gwyn had been my friend from the age of 3!  I have pictures of me with her and another girl from the time my father was getting his degree at UC in the late 1940s.

We later moved to Pennsylvania, but when we came back to Cincy, I met Gwyn again in Clifton during 6th grade.  We were close friends for a while, and she even came with me and my family on a cross-country trip in the summer of 1957.  8 people in a station wagon!  But we saw the sights -- Grand Canyon, Yosemite, etc.

We lost track after high school until more recent years -- including a 6th grade reunion a few years ago, which Gwyn hosted.  We have been in irregular touch ever since.

She had told me of her degenerative disease, so I am not shocked at the news.  But it is indeed sad, as she was such a devoted educator and kind person.

Gwynn was one of the GREAT LADIES of our class! I had lunch with her last year and she had a very brave attitude about her illness. She and I rode my horses in Cincinnati and had a great time. She will be greatly missed. She did a LOT of work for our Class of '61 on our very successful Class Reunions along with Corky. Kudos to both of them. Pat Cronenberg
