In response to the request for an update, here goes. My husband and I are doing well, extremely busy with history, local and national. I'm working on a new book, Why American Slavery Persisted. About to teach classes at three college/universities in the fall, and hopefully get to Italy for our son's 50th birthday. Wishing everyone the best. Invite you to see my blog, americansystemnow.com. The photos are from a short trip to Massanutten, Va. resort with friends this June.
Happy birthday, Helen. Hope you and your family remain well.

Hello, all. Checking in to share the good news that I just published my second book (the first was back in the 1990s) entitled Hamilton Versus Wall Street: The Core Principles of the American System of Economics. It's available on Amazon, Barnes & Nobles, and iUniverse (my self-publishing publisher) in all forms. I was very pleased to get a positive comment (on the back) from an established Hamilton scholar, and I'm hoping for some extensive circulation. Take a look. Otherwise, our trip to Greece went wonderfully (although too short), and we're about to take off for Italy to see family in April. Our health is holding up, which is good--we think we still have a lot to do. Best to all, Nancy

Six months later, and another prod, so here goes. My life has revolved heavily around American history--my blog (americansystemnow.com), lectures, books. I was on to Hamilton long before he became a big hit. I'm a member of the Alexander Hamilton Awareness Society, and submitted an essay in a contest they were having. Won second prize-you can see the essay on the blog here https://americansystemnow.com/alexander-hamiltons-genius-can-save-our-nation/. My husband and I are looking forward to travel to Greece this year in celebration of our 50th, if health problems don't intervene. But I'm sure that's a common concern all around at our age. Best to everyone, Nancy
