Katie Williams Murphy died on October 10, 2012, after a lingering illness. She had been a resident at Oak Hills Nursing Home since July 2010. Katie was born in Cincinnati on July 28, 1943, the daughter of Thomas Wesley Williams and Yvonne Gale Williams. She attended Walnut Hills High School, from which she graduated in 1961, and was a 1965 graduate of the University of Louisville (KY), where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She is survived by her former husband, James Murphy, of Malibu, California;her sister Jane Andrassi of Niantic, Connecticut;her brother Tom Williams of New Orleans, Louisiana; six nephews and nieces; and 10 great-nephews To express condolences go to Grunnfunerlhome.com
