Lori Haas Gravitt

After H.S. Graduation, I attended Raymond Walter’s community college in Blue Ash 1989-1991. In 1992, I enlisted in the United States Air Force (USAF), and worked with reconnaissance film (imagery production) and then became an aerial combat photographer until 2001 when I separated to complete a bachelors degree (B.S.) at Charleston Southern University, S.C. Upon graduation, I commissioned back in the USAF as an intelligence officer in 2003. While on active duty, I completed a Master’s degree (M.A.) from Oklahoma university in 2009. I met and married my now husband, Cody Gravitt, (also a USAF Officer) in 2008 and we welcomed our only child, Tess, in 2010. I retired from active duty in 2017 in order to have more flexibility and time with our daughter. We currently live in Alexandria, Va where my husband is assigned to the Pentagon and our daughter has started high school.

I really enjoyed my time at Sycamore and love to see/hear what my classmates have accomplished and how they spend their time now. Because of my chosen profession, my adult life has been lived outside of Cincinnati and now that all of my immediate family members have moved away, I visit less and less. That being said, I will always consider Cincinnati my home. I still make skyline chili at home (my husband and daughter are now big fans as well) and I root for the Bengals & the Reds. When I am in town, I still see a handful of sycamore friends whom I will always cherish. Wishing you all good health & happiness, Lori Haas
