Stanley and i lived on the same street in Bond Hill until i was about fourteen and a half (1945 to early 1960).  Our neighborhood at that time had what seemed like a hundred kids who all played together and for the most part always got along. In good weather we would either be playing baseball or football in the street and during a good snow in the winter we would make sled trains to go down the street....little kids on the backs of the big kids.  it was a great neighborhood. Stanley and his two brothers were a part of that and my three brothers [two of whom are WHHS grads] and I were as well.

I have not attended any of the past reunions but decided to attend the 55th partly to see Stanley.  I was very saddened by hearing of his passing, very saddened.  Although we had not kept in contact, i had moved all over the country and out of the country for a bit, our memories are always with us.  His birthday happened to fall near one of my brother's birthday which always made me think about Stanley.

I am so sorry you are gone.  I hope there was no suffering, you looked so healthy in the picture taken at the 50th reunion. My belated condolences to your family and your two brothers.  Good bye my friend.
