Carolyn and I were "locker neighbors," and I'm glad I got to know her. She had a great sense of humor, and we laughed together often while we waited for our ride to pick us up for school. I lost track of her after graduation, but learned that she married a physician, had a daughter, and worked as a lab manager in the medical field for 25 years. Carolyn was a talented stitcher and the first president of the Texas Star Chapt. of the Embroiderers Guild of America. She loved to read, travel, and scrapbook. Carolyn lost her husband in '07 and her life on March 9th of this year.
