We had such fun. In many classes, when the roll was called it was "Shavzin, Simpson, Sonkin." Because of Terry's humor and wit, even mundane classes were more tolerable. Juanita

Terry knew how to be tough and at times abrasive.  But underneath her sarcasm was a caring soul.  Terry always helped me find ways to get to and from the activities that we shared.  I didn't drive till I was 18 and I didn't have car. She always made sure that I had a ride.  I have never forgotten her kindnesses to me, her humor and her energy!

I remember Terry as always being a bundle of positive energy with a world emcompassing smile, braces and all. I heard of her passing after a bunch of us had gathered for a dinner. It was a sad end to an otherwise fun evening.

Your stories are good, but listen to this one. Terry and I went out New Year's Eve 1961. At mid-night when I was trying to make some lame-ass move, she, in her usual quiet manner, announced to the entire party that I was cutting her lips with my braces After that embarrassment, I decided to go in a different direction and the next day I called Dee-Dee Doernberg for a date and most of you  know that the rest has been a wonderful love story.
