I had noticed that Bob was deceased when the notices of the 40 year reunion went out, but had not found out why. I was saddened when I just read that he took his own life many years ago. Bob and I were never truly close friends, and by high school, we saw relatively little of one another. However, in junior high, at Schroder, he and I and a couple of other guys (who I won't embarrass by mentioning their names), always sat together at the un-cool kids lunch table. We were definitely not part of the in crowd, but we all enjoyed each other's company and helped make junior high at least somewhat more bearable. I certainly do remember that he was a car guy - even tried to explain to me what carburators do!

Sadly Bob Norton took his own life in his early 20's. I remember his 57 Chevy (327 3 duces) Awesome car.
Norton and I spent the weekend in a 1 bedroom SMALL trailer for Bob Brauns wedding in Murfreesboro Tenn.
5 People for the weekend. Fun Times. Miss both of them.
