All my life I've wanted to see the grand canyon but my parents never took me. They never asked me if I wanted to go. They must have assumed I would have been scared of all the rocks. I'm finally living on my own now and I think I'm going to plan that trip to the grand canyon. I've already thought about what I'll bring with me. My camera.

I have this really funny memory of being at a national monument with my parents. There was this huge canyon that looked as if it went down for miles. To be honest I only say it was a funny memory because I was scared. I also remember whistling a funny tune when I was there, but I don't remember the words.
