OK, here we are. 25 years past that invisible boundary between what we were and what we were going to be…

Where has the time gone? Aren’t we all still 13?

Time is so fluid and relentless. It never takes a break. It can be unforgiving. Or we can beat it briefly by taking advantage of moments like these to pause with old friends and reflect; to take stock of how far we’re come in the place where we began. To make the effort.

We have been through so much life since ’86. School, love, sorrow, career, marriage, travel, children, joy, and loss – all in different combination. There is still so much over the horizon, and still so much possibility: we just look at it through the lens of experience now. But there is a certain comfort in knowing that there’s a way to circle back to the beginning.

So, for better or for worse (hopefully only better) it is time to celebrate us. Time to celebrate our joys and losses, our successes and our failures. Time to celebrate our youth and simpler times. Time to laugh. Time to briefly go back to where our childhoods were tangled up with each other every day.

May happiness follow you like your shadow, may joy be yours every waking day, may you experience good health, good friends, and good fortune. And may you stay in touch with us over the years, wherever life’s adventure takes you next. We are so looking forward to spending these moments with you. Until then, take care and God bless.
