I have worked at Mckay-Dee hospital since January 1971, almost 40 years! I work in the Operating Room and help manage the Orthopedic Specialty. I love it and I hope to retire next year 2011.
I did a humanitarin medical mission with the Swanson Family Foundation in Mongolia in 2008 and worked with many of the Mongolian doctors and nurses for 3 weeks. There was other medical teams there from France, Switzerland and Germany making it fun and entertaining as we got to know and work with each other. It was an amazing opportunity and I hope we left them with new surgical techniques and practices that will help them in their medical fields.
