CE: Mike & Elizabeth Coachman, & Jud Aycock, Nov 1998
Dead Horse Ranch State Park, Cottonwood, AZ
Elizabeth & Mike were in the final weeks of their 6-months long honeymoon motorhome western trip. We camped at Dead Horse Ranch State Park, Cottonwood, Arizona.
One morning I was at our campsite leaning on the car we towed with the motorhome when another camper stopped his motorhome at our site and called out to me inquiring about our Pinellas Co. auto tag.
When Mike came up from the car and started walking toward the driver (wearing sunglasses), he said "Mike what are you doing out here?!" It was Jud Aycock, whom Mike hadn't seen since CHS graduation. Mike was amazed that Jud immediately recognized him after 37-years. Mike comments, "I guess I can't hide anymore." :-) Jud, who at the time, was leaving Dead Horse Ranch State Park to return to his home in the Phoenix area when he saw the Pinellas tag.
Jud and Mike
We re-connected again when Jud moved not far from our ranch in Hernando County.
