Hi Everyone - First of all thanks Beth for the birthday wishes and the great rendition.  I am running around today, but will talk to you soon (maybe next weekend).  It was great to see you too.  Its hard to be  back in cold Cleveland!!!!!

Thanks Sandy and Steve for the birthday wishes, I am really feeling a year older today. 

I am so sorry I missed the dinner Friday night, I really wanted to to come, but I guess I did a little too much partying in florida and by the time I got off the plane, which was Friday, I was just too bushed to come.  But I will definitely make it to the next one.  My thoughts were with everyone though.

Being from a rather reformed Jewish upbringing, Chanukah was a holiday we look forward to. Imagine getting a gift a day for 8 days… But I would tell my friends when I got older we got 1 gift for the first day, 2 for the second,4 for the third and 16 for the forth…See where this is going…. So on the 8 day I got 256 gifts…. The funny thing is some believed me

Hi, I haven't been on the forum for awhile so I want to say to Adrianne..."happy belated birthday", Joyce, happy belated birthday although I talk to you on the phone all the time and sang on your day! Happy Hanukah to everyone also. I've been busy, and my mom's been in a nursing home as she fell and broke her foot. It has been a month when she fell, and just had an x-ray after a month they still won't let her walk on the boot!! Apparently her age makes her bones brittle and slow healing. Her bone density is not a problem but this slow healing makes her a prisoner in a wheel chair at least another month until they x-ray again to see if she can put pressure on the foot with the boot!! It's tough seeing such an independant woman have to deal with being sooooo dependent! I know all of us are in the same boat with our aging parents to some degree, but could you all put out some healing prayers and thoughts for Agnes....my mom? Thanks! xxxooo
