hey jim
what do think about that. it would be free advertising 4 classmates, plus you can use someone you know

Besides Mike Slate and me, did anyone else from the elementary schools or jr highs or high school classes marry each other? If yes who and do you have pictures of yourselves young and after that I will put on the photo albums page toward the bottom of the page? I just got a long list in from Sue which I put on the photo album page..if anyone has any pictures together to match these names, before and during, email me.

Another one..hey guys...what girls did you like when you were in grade school? And girls..which boys did you like? And if you liked the same sex who were they? You can start with K-6 if you want and go upwards. I know I had a different boy I liked every year...(except for Mikey of course, that lasted 5th and 6th grade until we broke up) AND/OR who was you best friend/s and do you have any pictures together back then? ALSO, it was just suggested to me to do a match making thing on here..if you want to write single or married or looking or not on your profiles, go for it. I can put it on then and now too. So between networking and looking for a match, I guess this class has all kinds of possibilities...

Jim, he's talking about networking skills on this site..not classmates...

jim

i was talking about having a topic where our classmates can post there skills to help other classmates. like an accountant or lawyer or brick layer or even a stripper. well maybe not last one at our age. to me i would rather call someone i know if i need help not saying free-b's

Louy:

I TOTALLY mis-read your e-mail. GREAT idea. I need to see how many more topics we can put on our home page, and if there is room we'll add it.

Do birthday reminders go to everyone on this site...or just specific folks?? Just curious.

Louie,

What's a striper? One who stripes. I could use that but I'm all the way here in San Diego. I like the networking idea.

I've been more of a voyeur on this message forum as I too have mental pause and don't remember all those wonderful and delicious details you all have been talking about. I love all my old (and I mean old) friends and aqcuaintances from Roosevelt!

(Thanks for the wonderful memory of the wax paper bag those peanut butter cookies came in Sue.)

I just started putting married classmates almost at the end of the Photo Albums Page and I also started a section for best friends from school..so if you have any pictures you would like included there, you can upload them onto your profile and email me that you put them there or you can email them to me straight, whatever you'd like. Keep checking out the various pages, I am getting all kinds of pictures from you all and am constantly putting them on.

Louie, you always did make me laugh! Bonnie, I know my age but honestly, I can't believe I've made it this far along! yea!! I remember watching "love story" and I knew that would be my fate preppy. I did have a flair for the dramatic when I was in high school and in my 20's + my 30's now that I think of it....

In addition to networking I think we need a matchmaking section for our unmarried adult children. Or maybe a facebook group called "children of the CHHS class of 1969." I'm kidding, but still....

The whole LUNCH cost 15 cents..a tuna sandwich...milk and a cookie...fifteen cents. I bought that just about everyday and pocketed the rest of my "allowance".

Louie,
Maybe we parents should do the matchmaking!! Actually, doesn't it seem surprising that any of us matured enough to become responsible adults?

looking at the photo albums and seeing Elayne Butlers picture was really something else. our freshman year at OSU a group of us became really good friends, and i still remember as if it were yesterday that Elayne stopped by our dorm room to say goodbye(end of spring quarter)our reply to her was that we would see her at home in cleveland. just wanted to share the memory in the message forum with everyone, how lucky we all are to be able to share our 40 reunion with one another. you guys are really great and i look forward to reading the messages that are posted.
