Sheryl Winer (Lessens) Hey, with all the talk about the Jewish Mafia, do you remember Mark Borovitz in our class? He went to Boulevard and Roosevelt, a red head. He wrote a fascinating book, you really ought to read. He ended up being a real Jewish gangster in Cleveland, served time in Calif. and is now a rabbi in LA. If you read this message, Mark, hello!! You are right about the Schvitz. My husband goes with a group of men every first Friday of the month. They have a great steam and then steaks. He said that the lot is patrolled with tipping and the people in the neighborhood know that it is private club. Enjoy your time will all the old coots in their towels. (not my idea of fun).

I too changed my profile to Sue over Susanne. After leaving Hts, I decided not to use it unless necessary.It makes me think of being a little girl in trouble with a grownup and I really don't answer to it except to sign checks.

Sandy...my husband bought me a bathing suit...and had the presence of mind to get me shorts that matched. I NEVER wear a bathing suit without something over it...usually shorts. BUT we have a lake at our corner. I have a whole closet full of coverups for the summer...and yes...sunscreen 50 or so. Don't want to be a prune.

I have fond memories of the schvitz. Right after sitting
in the steam room & working up a great schvitz, did you
ever jump into that small pool filled with ice cold water? Holy cow! The ice chips were actually floating on the surface. Your reward was one of those monster steaks
waiting for you.

Anyone remember the Sunoco/ Arco at Warrensville & Silsby? (It's now a flower shop) I think the Erlich twins' Dad owned it and then sold it to Joe Rossman. Joe hired me in '72 to pump gas & drive the tow truck. I worked for Joe for a couple of years & Joe still has a regular radio show on AM 1300 called "The Motor Doctor". Anyway, Joe & I still keep in touch & hit the schvitz on occasion... For any of you locals, several of us are planning a visit to the schvitz on March 26th... Let me know if you care to join us...

BTW.. any OSU "Sammys" out there? Just had Steve Levine and his wife over for supper tonight and he says "Hello"

Thursday, October 15th might be a good night for HHS '69 night at "The Schvitz"... I'll be happy to coordinate.

Rob Erlich Hey, Scott your right it was my dad who owned the Sunoco gas station and from that one he bouught the Arco next to Geracies pizza. Boy I remember when there was only gas jockeys to fill you car. In the winter we froze our tush off.
