reunion Committee

is the friday night get-together going to be a show up and have fun or is it going to be a pay-as-you-go

i think we can find a place that would be happy to have us for free were there is food and drink that we pay for. Some of the classmates dont want to pay to meet people they dont like but they may do it for free

Hi everyone. Went out of town for one week & the amount of chatter here is amazing! Ended today a week of college campus visits. Boy have things changed since we attended. Final visit was The Ohio State University.
O-H-I-O. OSU will still officially be the largest campus
in the nation with 39,000+ undergrads & 50,000 plus overall. Anyone else shopping college?

Beth....Miethers was a great place. Last owner(Howard)
recently passed on. He had another ice cream place for a while next to the old Center Mayfield theatre.

Sounds like Steven and Louie are hosting a Friday night party. They still have their bongs and probably something to put in them; plus no cover charge!

I think a few of the ladies posted earlier that they still have their thongs.

I still have my thongs but now we call them flip flops!

Hi Bob, Louie, Clare and everyone,

I laughed sitting here just now reading the forum from this week. I LOVE IT! BONGS AND THONGS....What a riot..You are right Clare, they are called flip-flops for us, butt floss for the..ahem, younger girls!!

Louie,

Of course I know you really mean some kind of musical instument designed to create a 'bong' like sound RIGHT?? NOT!!

As for Meithers, Bob, was Howard one of the couple of men who bought the store from the Meithers? Just wondering.

Hi Folks...

Let's schedule a Friday lunch on May 15th. That should give each of us enought time to clear our calendars. Tentative spot... "Mad Greek". Suggestions as to an alternative are welcome.

So let's book it. Friday, May 15th. A noon luncheon at "The Mad Greek".

Who's in? Let me know so that I can reserve table(s).

The Friday lunch at Mad Greek sounds great if you can wait till after June 5th. Some of us are teachers and can't change work schedules for lunch. I could make it for 5 minutes since I have lunch from 11:20 -12:20 over at Noble School. Why not wait for a few weeks when others can come.

For those in the Cleveland area, this morning was the Heights Annual Pancake Breakfast. I saw Wendy and Steve Fox as well as others from earlier classes. Gary Stromberg was promoting his book about the Tigers and Heights High since he retired from Channel 8 news. They did give short tours of the school too. Every April there is a pancake breakfast for those interested.
