Joyce,

I am glad I am not the only one who asked that question. I even rem girls having their skirt lengths measured!! Sheesh!! I was in college in my second year before women were allowed to wear slacks on campus. I had PTSD

'Post Traumatic School Disorder'

There definitely was an inequality...nice basketball uniforms for the boys and horrendous girls gym uniforms and swim suits. I hated those brown swim suits. I used to get what was left at the bottom of the bin, usually
several sizes too big for me. I had to tie mulitple knots in the straps to keep the suit up when I got out of the water. ALSO, let us not forget the swim caps we had to wear. Like Sandy Beksa said, I also had P.E. first thing in the morning!! What a nightmare!! She got out of it after a week or so, I had to go through the rest of the day appearing with hair issues. No wonder I didn't have a lot of dates for Friday night games!!

By the way Joyce, I have my reservation to be in Cleveland July 8-14.

05/01/09 08:55 AM #1317

Beth Nehamkin

Sandy, Rita, Joyce.....

I am lucky too....no one I have to clean up after anymore!!!! As for myself, she likes it clean but if it gets dusty...oh well..it waits....my cook is on call too...I call and order!! I do have one of those archaic things in the kitchen that you set to a temperature and it heats up and bakes things, think it is called an oven or something like that

Louie,

The other room in not the TV room, it is the laundry room so get in there!!

Hello All...

Tom Mart & I had a great time at The Schvitz last night. A steam, a rubdown and a lovely steak w/ a good "Cab" and a tasty cigar....

They close for the season next week but will re-open in October in time for Mitch, Perry, Tom and me to meet on Thursday, October 15th for supper. Gents... Join us if you can... It's a real Cleveland throwback experience.

I also want to remind all that we will be meeting for lunch on Friday, May 15th at the Mad Greek at Cedar & Fairmount. Hope to meet many of you and perhaps begin a lunch tradition. Thanks for the RSVP's so far... If you're planning on joining us, please let me know.

To Sandie Kanter, I just learned about your father's death. I'm SO sorry - so much in such a short time.

I'm in Israel now and hope to meet Rachel Rosenfeld Shacham on Tuesday.

That is a whole lot of stuff that you just shared about your young bride. Is it because she is out of town at a wedding?

Don't have to be a goy to help out. I do all of the time. My wife deserves it. Never gives me any grief. and, I am sure I am a lot to handle.

My little shiksa treats me like a king. Unlike my first (J.A.P.) wife, Susan's jewelry is fake and org----ms are real.

No offense to those of you that are nice.

After 15 years and 3 children, I know.
FYI - Some of the jewelry is real.

I think good old TMI is what I have to say about this!!!! Hows this... I'm a JAP and don't care much for jewelry...real or fake.

Mitchell Berg (Berg)

Joyce:
The jewelry/O thing was a joke. I thought my fellow alums were old enough to remember Henny Youngman who Rodney Dangerfield stole it from and I stole it from Rodney. He also said:
What are a woman's four favorite animals?
A mink in the closet,
a Jaguar in the garage,
a tiger in the bedroom,
and an ass to pay for it all.

Lighten up folks.

I do not compare other Jewish women with my exwife so no offense was intended. Besides, I know you are nice.

See you later. I am back to facebook.
