On a more sobering note, if any of you have been, or are, involved in Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts (especially Jewish scouting) with your kids, we've had two signicant losses announced today:

Bob Stotter died in Cleveland. He was nationally known in J-Scouts for leading "the ultimately unsuccessful battle to persuade the Greater Cleveland Council to implement a meaningful training and enforcement program for the use of non-Sectarian prayers at 'mixed' gatherings" (quoted from a J-Scout eulogy).

Jerrold Lochshin died in Canton. He has been extremely active at the helm of J-Scouts for decades. He helped me in Wilmington, NC to improve our "Bible Belt"/Cape Fear Council's religious and cultural sensitiviy.

Both funerals will be held Sunday afternoon. May their names be for a blessing.

Thank you to the committee for their update...and also for reconsidering their package idea. While I plan to be at both events, it's nice to know that folks have the option of attending one or the other.

My airline reservations are made, and I'm looking forward to a great weekend.

Ask the band if I can sing ONE song with them!!

Hey guys, I'm leaving again on Sat. until the 21st of July. If anyone has any photos or anything you want to email me, do it now or I'll get it done when I return. I will have access to a computer while I'm away so it's possible I can do some work on it but not sure. Later...

Last night was wonderful-as usual-who knew reconnecting would be this much fun?!? OK...time to plan the next one...anybody coming in from out of town who isn't making it to the reunion? We could plan it around them.

Mr. Berman it was indeed an honor to share a table with you last night and great to see you and many others I had not seen for years .
Do any of my former classmaates kayak? If so let me know I go out on Lake Erie from Bradstreet Landing park in Rocky River most weekends and some evenings-- bring your kayaks out and we can view the Clevealnd skyline and float out with the sailboats.
