I got my B.A. in Psychology from CWRU in 1973. Then during most of the 70's and 80's I made my living performing as a singer-songwriter-guitarist-comedian, releasing 2 albums and doing hundreds of shows at clubs, concert halls and colleges and universities all over the U.S. I got married in 1986 and for the next 12 years I was the Director of Youth and Camping Services at the Cleveland JCC. Since 1999 I've been in the staffing industry -- first with Management Recruiters International, and more recently with Kforce Technology Staffing and Patina Solutions. I started my own boutique recruiting firm, Midas Recruiting, in 2009. I'm currently the Director of Recruiting at Experis Finance, a division of ManpowerGroup.
My biggest claim to fame at Heights was creating the 8mm film that was shown during our 1969 Senior Assembly, which included the scene that showed the daily flag raising ceremony, ending with the camera panning up the pole to show a Mickey Mouse flag! (See below.)

Cleveland Heights High School - 1969 Senior Class Film
This 8mm film, created by Michael Spiro and Sam Weinberg, was shown at the Cleveland Heights High School senior class assembly in June 1969. One of the more memorable scenes -- a parody of the morning flag raising -- lampoons the famous senior class prank that year, which involved someone putting a Mickey Mouse face on the school's iconic clocktower.Powered by Class Creator
