My memories of Alan go back to Belvoir Elementary School. Alan lived around the corner from me in a beautiful home. He was best friends with Richie Weissblat, Danny Belman and Marc Gladstone. We lived in a neighborhood that had many kids the same age. Wendy Stein (black hair), Meryl Fishman and myself always met Richie, Danny, Marc and Alan at the playground and played until our parents called us to come home for dinner. Our front doors were never locked and our Mother's yelled for us through the screen doors. We had a lot of get togethers at each others homes and listened to the Beatles music. We danced together practicing all of the new dance steps. We just had fun playing in our neighborhood hanging out together playing games like Kick the Can with good friends. Alan was a good natured person with a great personality. I remember laughing a lot together with him. He was the class clown. I remember hearing about his passing and was devastated. He is truly missed. Nadine Meclovsky Lader

I knew Alan as a classmate. We sat next to each other in several classes at Wiley and had jovial conversations. I was shocked when I heard of his death back in the 1980s.
