I was surprised and saddened to hear of Nate's passing. I mostly remember the fun we had playing on the Roosevelt and Heights High football teams. I was so glad Nate was on our team and not the other team. He sometimes had a rough exterior but I saw many examples of how he had a heart of gold. Although we did not stay in touch after Heights there was a very good chemistry between us.
I was saddened to hear about Nate's passing. May he rest in peace and his family should find the strength to go on with their lives. I remember Nate at Roosevelt. He was always joking around and had such a kind heart.
So sad. Nate was part of our Antisdale gang. Lots of crazy memories from back in the day. And you're right Jeff, rough exterior with a heart of gold. He was always kind to me and I will remember him fondly for that. Rest in peace.

Very fond memories from Roosevelt and Heights. Did not stay in-touch after high school, but always considered him a friend.
