Arnie Hammer died in Portland OR, he leaves a wife. children, grandchildren, father, brothers, sister and many friends.
Paula Fishman writes: Arnie was my "birthday twin". Our mothers gave birth to us on the same day and our families remained great friends for life. Not a birthday went by that Arnie and I didn't talk on the phone to wish each other another Happy Birthday. I can't remember a time in my life when Arnie wasn't part of it. He is deeply missed.

I was in many classes with Arnie. Like most in our gigantic class we traveled in different circles. But each time I read about a fellow classmate's passing, even though we may have only been acquaintences, it is still as if we have lost a part of ourselves. RIP Arnie Hammer.
