After high school, I received two degrees: BA in Psychology & MA in Health Education. My wife, Beth, and I live in Russell Township (in Geauga County), with 17 dogs! All are Pugs except for one English Toy Spaniel. Beth breeds & shows Pugs. I have my own healthcare seminar / consulting company focusing on dramatically enhancing communication between patients and healthcare professionals. I use the name, Edward Leigh, as my professional name. In 1999, I became seriously ill with Stage III Colon Cancer. I am well today. Katie Couric & Montel Williams have interviewed me regarding my cancer journey. The Discovery Health Channel chronicled my story on their show, Mystery Diagnosis. (Beth and I appear on the video below, where Montel interviews us regarding my botched cancer experiences. The show features clips from the Discovery Health Channel show, where Beth and I portray ourselves in recreated scenes of my healthcare story.)
