My twin brother David (In Boston) and I (In Omaha) talk all the time and see each other frequently.

Stuart Marcus, my good friend and classmate, passed away at about age 60 from a brain tumor. (We roomed together in Atlanta post- college graduation and then I moved to Boston, where my brother resided.)

I occasionally get to call classmates when I return to Cleveland

Added March 22, 2015: Earlier this month, I was privileged to be a guest of my congressman for Prime Minister Netanyahu's speech before a joint session of Congress.

His speech was informative, inspirational, and, to some degree, eye-opening as he offered several options for the leadership to consider in their sensitive negotiations with the Iranians.

Both sides of the aisle thought he raised important issues that needed to be addressed as the P5 + 1 talks advanced.

Adding to the excitement of the occasion, I sat in the gallery, about 30 feet to the right of Elie Wiesel, his wife, Sara Netanyahu, and Alan Dershowitz, who sat in front of the former president of Spain, a strong pro-Israel advocate.

One row below were some members of the Press Corps from MSNBC, CNN and CBS. I ended up having a short chat with a guy named Walt from CBS News. (Too bad I stuffed his biz card in my pocket and did not look at it until the next morning. Turns out "Walt" was Walter Cronkite's grandson!)
