Alma R. (White) Jackson

I taught High School Business classes as inspired by the wonderful teachers I had at Monticello and CHHS. I majored in Business at Baldwin-Wallace College where I met and married my husband Gerald Jackson. We lived and worked in Ohio for a short time but spent most of our career years working in the Washington DC area and living in Virginia. We raised our children there and were very involved in our local church. In 2010 my mother moved from Cleveland to our home in Virginia and unfortunately when my sister Coretta passed away in 2014; also a CHHS Alumni, her daughter came to live with us as well during her junior year. She graduated from the high school where I taught so we both completed that chapter and I retired with 27 years in education. We decided to move to Charlotte, NC for her to further her education and simply loved the area. We have been retired there for ten years now and loving every minute of it!
