Shay Brown Lee

After graduating in 1990 I attended Cleveland State, Graduated with a general education Associates degree then attended Chattanooga State and obtained a second AS in Hazardous Materials Technology. I went to work for Olin Chemical in 1991. Then I graduated with a BS in Business from Tusculum College. I married John Owneby in 1993 and had my son Zach the same year, he is now a 16 year old Junior at Walker Valley High. I am now married to Jimmy Lee and we have an adopted daughter Aubrey (3) from China. I still work for Arch Chemical (spin off from Olin). I am a Territory Sales Manager, I have a 5 state territory and I love my career. We have a beautiful place on the Hiwassee River in Calhoun, TN and are still very involved in the Cleveland Community. I have travelled all over the world but have always chosen to live and raise my family close to home.

I have travelled to China, Japan, Korea, Aruba, all over the US including Hawaii a few times, Mexico and the Carribean, I'd liek to see all 50 states, I'me getting close, its a goal:)

I recall being attached at the hip to my best friend Kristi Headrick, you didn't see on without the other. Besides that BIG HAIR, thats the part that stands out most to me. I gave it up long ago. Most people wish they could go back and look like they did in Highschool. I might take my old body back, but not that crazy hair, or my eyebrows! The 80s can keep them.

I was shy and insecure in school. I wish I could have been the person I am now back then...confident, secure It would have been an entirely different experience. Ha, oh well I guess thats how we learn who we are.
