It's reunion time and this message requires your immediate action.  The reunion details are as follows:

 

Date: Saturday, October 24, 2009

Place: Coharie Country Club (101 Coharie Lane - Clinton, NC 28328)

Time: 6:00 pm - 12:00 am (Includes dinner and dancing - cash bar will be available)

Cost: $65 per couple ($30 for single entry)  for the Saturday night event

 

(Note: Any additional donation ($5 - $10) for extra reunion touches, incidentals, etc. would be much appreciated!)

 

 

If you responded to the “Attending Reunion” checkbox when you first created your account, then please update it to indicate whether you’ll be attending.  This will help us to confirm our count of attendees.

 

Register for the reunion by Saturday, October 10^th (if you haven't done so already).  Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email which can be printed (or you can print the details that are shown on the bottom of the reunion page after you’ve signed up.)  The reunion page and registration form is here. 

 

Print and mail your registration and payment to Kraig Westerbeek at the address below by Saturday, October 10th.  Our deadlines with the Country Club and the caterer are the following week, so we need a firm count of how many people are coming.

 

 

Dark Horse Football (and Band) Anyone?  We are planning to attend the CHS Homecoming football game on Friday night (10/23).  According to the guy I just talked to at CHS, tickets cost either $5 or $6 (LOL).  He also said we can't purchase group tickets, so we'll have to meet at the game.  There will be a banner there (thanks to Vickie Peterson Bogan) so we can all sit together.  According to the website, the varsity game starts at 7:30pm.  If you'll be in town earlier, there's also talk about a tour of the new CHS.  More details on this will follow.

 

Family Time at Royal Lane  We’re also planning a family gathering at Royal Lane park on Saturday morning (bring your own snack or lunch), starting around 11:30am.  Details are pending, and please send us any suggestions or ideas you may have for this event.

 

We really want this to be an exciting reunion weekend, so if you are in contact with people from our class who have not registered on the website, PLEASE call them and encourage them to do so!  It is going to be great to be together again!!! I am really looking forward to seeing everyone!
