First Website Visit.

If you are new to the website please read this page as it will answer many of your questions about how to use our website, manage your profile and use a password.

This website was created at www.classcreator.com website and is maintained by your classmate administrators Mickey Cassell and Jerry Lundy.     It is completely free to our classmatesYou will never be asked to pay to make a profile or to be able to access other alumni profiles.

Managing your profile.

You have the option of password protecting your personal profile which blocks the general public and search engines from accessing your profile details.  Once you create a profile, you will also be able to see the profiles of your fellow classmates and interact with them.  Each profile has a picture of your classmate from the yearbook.

All contact information that you enter into this website will be kept confidential.  It will not be shared or distributed.  Your contact information is private: your address and phone number can't be seen by the classmates unless you grant permission on your profile. When someone clicks on your name, all they will see of your contact information is your city and state and whatever information about yourself you choose to put on your web page. Your email address is not viewable, though an email can be sent to you using the contact box at the bottom of your web page. However, if you send a message to someone through their profile, they will see your email address so that they can respond.

You will need to make your individual profile in order to access any password protected pages on the site.  Start by clicking on the Classmate Profiles link at the top of the home page. This will take you to a page with all your classmate names, including yours. Find your name and click on it.  Follow the prompts to create your profile. The password that you enter during this process will be used as your login password. You can personalize your page with information such as what have you been up to since graduation, school memories, your family, and photos.

If you click "Remember Me" when you log in, you will not need to log in next time you go to the site. Note there is a password retrieval feature to click on: "Forgot Password?" in case you need to log in sometime and can't remember your password; the password will be sent to you email inbox. You can login from computers other than your home computer but you will need to enter your password.

If you change your email address, snail mail address, or phone number, please update those in your profile so when we download a hard copy we will have your correct information.

More Instructions: How to upload pictures to your web page:

Note from Mick: If this is a bit overwhelming, there’s a simpler way.    Send your photos (email, snailmail, hand-delivered) to Mick or Jerry and we’ll put them up for you.

You must be logged on. In the links on the left side under MEMBER FUNCTIONS, click on the link: Edit/Upload Photos.

You’ll see a gray box titled: Upload New photo.   Click this and then click the Add Files box. This will take you to your computer and you will need to browse to the folder that has the photos you want to add. The most common photo files are jpg.

Click on the file you want to add and then click “Upload Files”. The Sort option is there if you need to rearrange several photos that you add.

Enter the Caption for your picture in the box.

Click the SAVE CHANGES button.   If you exit without clicking here, no changes will be made to your profile.

Now go to your Profile page and look for your picture and caption.

If anyone wants to add a You Tube video, we can do that for you also.

Other Features.   At the top of the home page, are the following links:

Classmate Profiles – This takes you to a list of all of our classmates.   By clicking on a name, you will see what information that person has added to his or her profile.

Message Forum – This is like a chat room.   Comments, stories, etc can be added and other classmates can respond.   For example, we may have an idea for the 2009 reunion and ask our classmates to offer suggestions or you may make suggestions on your own.

Contact Us – Here you can contact the site administrator if there are problems, questions, suggestions, etc.

In Memory – When you click this link, you are taken to a page where you will see a beautiful collage created by Sue Kern’s daughter, Karen.   Below that is a list of deceased classmates.   Clicking on a name will take you to information about that person such as the date of their passing as well as photos, etc.     Classmates may add their own comments by clicking the Post Response button.

Home - Clicking here returns you to the home page if you are on another page such as Class Profiles or In Memory.

On the left side are several links:

Reunion Photos: We will add this after each reunion.   The number of photos and the content will vary depending on how many photos we receive from classmates.

CHS Reflector – This is our entire senior yearbook. Thanks to Karen (Sue Kern’s daughter) for scanning them.

Help – This is where you are now.

Reunion Notes.   This is a marvelous, detailed account of reunions.   Sue Kern is a talented writer.

CHS FUN PAGE.
This is where we can have some fun with old photos.   I don't have many but I'll bet that some of you do.   Send me your photos of yourself, classmates, family, pet - whatever.

1961 History/Videos – There’s some fun stuff here.   Jog your memory.  It is located at the bottom of the Home Page.

The Member Functions section is pretty self-explanatory.   You can see if anyone left you a message, change you contact information, etc.

The links on the right side of the home page are also self-explanatory.
