After graduating with my degree in elementary education, I began my career in teaching. I taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. Then I earned a master's degree in counseling and administration. I worked at Washington Elementary School as a teacher and then a counselor for a total of 10 years. In 2006, I moved to Skyline Elementary (in Sedalia) to take the position as principal. This is my third year there and I enjoy my job (most days). This past May, I completed my specialist degree in superintendency. Seems like I have been in school since 1989. James and I have been married for 10 years and we have two children. Tyler just turned 16! He is a sophomore at Smith-Cotton High School. Tanner is 8 years old and is a third grader at Skyline. My husband James is an electrician and he just finished building our new home located 2 miles south of Sedalia on U Highway. We are very busy with our jobs, running kids to soccer and school events, church and extended family.
