I have 2 baby girls 11 months apart! I work on adult psychiatric and center for intensive addiction services at Marquette General Hospital, 3 hours north of coleman. My husband is a cop up here. He also graduated from N.M.U. and works at Marquette County Sheriff's Dept. His name is Jason and was actually his high school class president so he is planning his reunion! We have been together for 7 years. We rarely go back home, I went to college, had a blast, and hate leaving!:) My husband is from Houghton, MI. He is the best man in the world! I never understand when my friends complain about their husbands because I can't relate! I love him more and more every day and am so glad that I did not settle for anything less. He picks on me because I have turned into one of those annoying "tree-huggers"!!:) We live mostly organic and he is so militant!:) I do all cloth diapering, all organic shopping and gardening. We still live in "Little Detroit" up here free for his job we are saving money for our dream house, I am deathly afraid of debt so at least one more year. I love being a mommy and a wife and I only work part-time because I hate being away from my kids and husband. We will have more babies, we might even adopt in the future. There is nothing like being a mommy and a wife! We are also involved in our church and I have many mommy groups and play groups. I am one of those annoying mom's you see in the grocery store singing to her kids, kids yelling, baby in a sling breastfeeding, etc... We have a blast!
I can remember just laughing all of the time in Mr. Smith's classes. (the tire going down the high way)! I actually had funnier times in college, so high school is not as clear to me. College was way too much fun so high school was kind of a blur, I kind of remember being picked on a lot, to be honest, but that is all in the past.:) College made up for it! I did have a good time in high school though, I loved our fun times with my girlfriends. I have to agree with Bobbie about being called to the principal's office for having guys in our hotel room! Remember Ms. Beamer? What a woman! She always acted like my mother! God help me! I can remember arguing politics until I was blue in the face---still Republican---yet Green party ideas! It was my minor in college!:)
