Hello to everyone so sorry that I have been just a peeper lately we just have had a lot going on. Today we found out that Amanda has been diagnosed with Pseudotumorcerebri which is that your body gives all the symptoms that you have a brain tumor but you don't. You have severe head aches with this. This can cause blindness and if the pressure is not controlled they put in a shunt. She had this in college got the treatment and has not had any problems until now. Please keep her in your prayers she will have a spinal tap and an mri on April 8th.

I really don't know alot to say about Tammy other than I feel like I met a new friend at the reunion. I never really knew her in school so when I started talking to her and found out she walked in the cancer walk with Lisa S, I knew then that she was a good person. Then when she came to mine and Nicki's room, I was able to talk to her more. She was so full of life. She and Peggy brought all kinds of stuff to our room, snacks, wine, plates, not to mention cake, to help accommodate everyone that night. It was amazing!

I told Nicki that night that I didn't really know her in high school. Nicki said she seems to be really a good hearted person. We both enjoyed making a new friend in Tammy, we will miss her friendship.

We pray for Tammy's family.

For those of you that could not attend tonight, I wanted to share this with you. I went to the Funeral Home tonight in honor of our Tammy, and with all the beautiful pictures of her sitting around, her love and genuine spirit was felt. Tammy was a beautiful person inside and out. I told her Mother, that I knew she loved her North Clayton family and how we all loved her too. Her family seemed to be holding up as well as expected. May God Bless you Tammy.

Hey All!
I too went to the funeral home with my Mom, we lived next door to Tammy from the time I was three yrs old, til I moved out at nineteen. It was good to see her Mom, Russ (step father) brother Robby and half sister Linda, their kids, I even got to see Mark Mobley's parents, Vi and Pete, and Marks brother and sister.
Several NC people were there, Martha, Becky (Wood), Matt, Patti and her Sister Pam, Vicki N, Kim McNeely, Karen Horton, Wolfgang, and her dear friend Lisa Wallace Spradley, and more that attended earlier!!
Shirley (Tammy's Mom) was just so thankful that so many had come to see Tammy ! Her commment was that she requested to have Tammy here local for her family and friends to be able to see her and Gary was kind and gracious to tell her, you take all the time you need with Tammy.
When Gary talked to my Mom, he told her that seeing Tammy's name on the plate at the entrance to the room she was in, was unbelievable. That he had told her, every day, each morning, "I love you" for the thirteen years they were married".
They also discovered that he knew very well, my Great Aunt from Clayton, Georgia, had worked with her many times on legal issues, etc... so it's a small world indeed.
Sandee was right, there were tons of pictures of Tammy and her family and friends, and some from the reunion.
Patty told them to go on our site and read all the wonderful things our classmantes said about Tammy and she also told me to check out her profile comments!
Tammy will be missed by many...

Thanks Sandee and Tina for posting the info about Tammy. I hate that I wasn't able to make it. I'm leaving Friday for a two week trip to Germany to see my son and his family. Tammy was such a sweetheart. We were all truly blessed by her kind and gentle spirit. I know that I am honored to have known her. I'm so thankful that many of you were able to go. I still see her face everyday on Face Book and I still can't believe it. I will truly miss her. On a happier note--I can only imagine her experiencing meeting Christ in all of His glory! I can only imagine her enjoying heaven! Wow!

Hi All!

Well, once again tragedy has struck the NC family.
I received a call last night from Patti P, that Chris Wallace had passed away.

For those of you whom may not remember her, she graduated in '75 I think, but also lived in the Cherry Hills Subdivison, coincidently on our street also. She was on the Drill Team and just a very loving and kind lady and wll be missed greatly.

Her brother is Jeff Wallace, whom graduated in '80?

Chris had a rare form of cancer and had been battling it for a while, she went home from the hospital this week and then passed on Wednesday.

I may be able to get more information of any services, etc... but for now the family is undecided and trying to cope as best they can.

Patti, if you can get us any additional information please post also.

We were stunned to hear of Tammy's passing. Her loss is unfathomable and we offer our prayers to ease the pain her loved ones feel.

"May the Lord bless and keep you, may he shine his countenance upon you and give you peace". Rest well dear one, your memory will be cherished until we meet again.

I read my e-mails and forum for the first time in weeks today and cried. What a wonderful person thats been taken from us!!! I've only been jealous of God one other time in my life. Why does he have to pick the pretty flowers and leave the weeds. Love you Tammy, I'll miss our E-mails.
Gary, I send my deepest sympathy to you and your family.Having gone through the same thing I wish I could give you words of encouragement but I still miss my wife every day. Some things can never be replaced, only missed but we are put here to live not to dye, so we wake up and put one foot in front of the other and do the best we can.

Tina:

(This is Kim...not Danny) Do you happen to have a picture of Chris Wallace that you could post? The name is familiar to me but I can't place a face. So sorry to hear about it, and also thoughts and prayers for peace are sent from us to Tammy's family. Although I didn't know Tammy on a personal level, I can see that she was well loved and will be missed very much. As a survivor of cancer, I truly appreciate the interest and time she put forth into the cause. Actually, she and Lisa have been an inspiration to me to become involved. Lisa, tell me what to do! I have family, lost family and friends that I need to show support for and what better way to do that?

Robin, I am so sorry to hear about the health issues your daughter is experiencing. If there is anything I can do let me know. If I'm not mistaken, she is in the Newnan area...so I am close and willing to help in any way that I can...even if she is not in the Newnan area.

Hey Darren Smith...if you are seeing this, we think of you and your family very often! I have you in my prayers too!

Enjoying this rainy morning, and thankful for friends and family! Love, Kim

Kevin (15 yr.) received the "Rookie of the Year" Award yesterday at his high school wrestling banquet. Michael (oldest that just graduated from College) got a job offer last week from Coke. YEAH !
