Since graduating at NC I moved to Summerville, GA, & that's where I have been since. I recently married for the second time and have two beautiful daughters, Lacey & Emily, who have given us two beautiful granddaughters, Jaycie & Sophie. I have a great job with the City of Summerville. Tim & I love going to the races & enjoy camping & spending time with our family. I didn't get to attend the last reunion because we were at the races, so I am looking forward to seeing how much everyone has changed in the past 10 years.

I've always wanted to go on a cruise, so if we get to do the "Class of '78 Cruise" in 2010, that dream just might come true!!

Of course Dale Earnhardt, Jr!! I met Jimmy Johnson his rookie year in the infield at Talladega (nobody else recognized him but me) also met Denny Hamlin (his girlfriend got mad at me because I gave him some beads, Ha!!) Joe Namath (at the Master's, he wasn't even drunk!!)

I have always wanted to meet Dale Earnhardt, Jr., so three years ago 3 of my daughter's friends & I went to a Nascar race in Charlotte & while we were there we got invited to a party at Dale Earnhardt Jr's house. It was a hoot, we acted like those girls on the Kasey Kahne commercial's!!! There was a lot of "Budweiser" flowing & we met a lot of interesting people that night. When I called Tim & told him where we were, of course he didn't believe me. So we "discreetly" took pictures of ourselves with some of his old race cars sitting in a field & sent them to him, he still didn't believe us!! It wasn't until a year later when we were watching one of the "Back in the Day" shows that Jr. does, he saw some of the things we took pictures of & finally believed me!! It was something I will never forget, I still remember the code to get in his gate!! LOL!!!

Yes, its sooo much fun!! We go to JT's out on the mountain a lot & we also have some friends that have the whole setup!! I sing in the shower too!! Heehee!!

At the 30-year class reunion when Peggy (Cakeho) wiped out after she tripped over Rodney's (Patti's husband's) leg. It was definitely a knee slapper, of course we made sure she was ok first!! LOL!!
