I went to college to become a teacher. I got my Bachelor of Education from GA State Univ. and then my Master of Education from there 3 years later.

I think become more proficient with the computer - I've always had secret dreams of becoming a hacker!!

Being in drivers ed and praying that I didn't get a partner that couldn't drive! Coach always put me and Gloria together because we had both been driving for a while and he could relax and read his paper while we drove around for an hour! One of the funniest things I ever saw was Jeff B. lose his toga during 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum'! One other memory is going to New Orleans with the Social Studies club and going down Burbon (sp?) Street! (FYI - I've been a Kindergarten teacher for the past few years and we don't have to know how to spell words with more than 3 letters!)

I have a Master's in Early Childhood Ed. as well as Educational Leadership and have worked for the Office of School Readiness as a PreK consultant as well as a teacher for the last 25 years. I also got to travel to Ireland for 2 weeks (fun!) and take my first cruise a couple of years ago (also fun!).

I've worked on my family genealogy for the last 20 years off and on and found out that I am a DISTANT cousin to Jeff Banks, Lewis Myers, and Alan Nation! (Small world!)
