Brian and I were like brothers and kept in touch after school. I was one of 5 "Best Men" at his wedding, I worked with him, and made him the god-parent for my 1st born.
I learned about the tumor the day he did, how lawyers were used to silenced him when he wanted to tell how he though he got it and of his treatments and experiences. But after almost 3 years he lost the battle. On an evening in November I received a call from one of Brian's neighbors telling me he had died.
