Vicki & I have been friends since Jr. High. We enjoyed the same things, loved to laugh. Her beautiful little body, twisted by polio finally gave out the year before we graduated. I have memories of sitting on her bedside when she had become too weak to get up & still she was vibrant. I've thought of her often over the years and KNOW I'll see again one day. We'll probably be sitting on a cloud and her laughter will ring through out Heaven. By the way I did not choose the wrong verb tense in the first sentence, we are still friends...just apart for a little while. What a reunion that will be!

Vicki and I went through Elementary School, Jr. High and High School together. Sometime around our sophomore year, we became very close friends. We spent a lot of time together. We enjoyed some great concerts at the Omni - yes I said the Omni! - together. We saw Rod Stewart. Gloria Gaynor, the Village People, I don't even remember who all we saw. But we always had a blast. Pete (Vicki's Dad) would take us up to the Omni and let us out. when the concert was over we called and he'd come right back and get us. You certainly couldn't take your 16 year old daughters to the Georgia Dome and let them out these days - or at least I wouldn't.

I am still very close to Pete and Vi (Vicki's parents). They are doing awesome and live in Snellville now. They have a beautiful grandaughter named Abby who I know Vicki is so proud of.

Can't wait to see her again!
