Comments:

Went into Air Force after school and worked as a aircraft mechanic on KC-135 and B52s, I was stationed in Texas, Nebraska, Okinawa and Calif. till I got out in 1970. I stayed in Calif for a few years and took up comerical diving and fishing to support my self while living on boats most of the time. I came back to colo spgs in 1974 and got into the electrical union as a journeyman. I worked at the trade until 1986 when my partner and I bought a electric motor sales and service business and am still there now. Lin and I got married in 1988, it was the second for both of us, but it was the best one for us. As the kids were all gone we were starting to enjoy our freedom and make plans to do things we wanted to do, but I lost her to a stroke in late 2008. I miss her pretty bad at times but I couldn"t have been more blessed to have those 20 years together. We had moved back out to black forest so am not to far from mom and dad's

School Story:

I almost didn"t get to graduate with you all because in my senior year I got so stupid that I decided to not care about class and grades (English) that by mid year I was flunking Miss Broom"s class, When mom found out and talk to her and learned that I was't even turning any home work mom told me that if I flunked english and didn't graduate, that I could plan on spending my summer in make up classes. bummer. Well with such fine motivation I decided that it might be to my advantage to pay attention to that inspiring teacher and do some school work. In the end Miss Broom said I'd wasn't a star student but coming from a zero to doing something and trying that at least I'd pass.
