Comments:

Thanks to all who attended the past AAHS reunion and made it a wonderful time, stay connected through this website and get more to it.
Me, divorced, retired CWO4 USN. Three great children Chechi, Shane and Shelbie, Grandparent of three beautiful granddaughters, Morgan, will start her junior year at University North Carolina, Wilmington, and Kinley (born 1/29/2010) will start her freshman year in high school somewhere in Lowell AR, from Shane and his wife, Nancy. , From Chechi, Sierra who graduated from CSU now in the Army as combat medic and twin boys born Dec 7, 2022. Daughter Shelbie married the damn Aussie, fine young man from Queensland, Australia and they finally settled in Lockyer Waters. They have 3 COB ponies that they show two, and a Clydesdale.
Well, it is about time for me to retire. Many of my classmates have passed away and navy friends. Time for me to pack up my RV, hook up my truck and start my fishing trip before it is too late. With this COVID stuff going around will have to be careful however, I have been to a few navy reunions and still well.

School Story:

I had to follow my sister, Nila (67), and brothers Harold (68), Del (69) so I was not that smart or athletic, due to my short size, but had a blast in the Band and the Freshman football team that went undefeated. I played basketball, track, wrestling, and finally swam well, at least diving. The concession stand selling for the BB games was a blast and there was so much school spirit, it was great. Mr. Perkins was the band teacher and that is where I learned to march and it helped me in boot camp, no one could count and march, so I was the Recruit Company Commander and enjoyed my 30 years in the Navy. Met a lot of great people and was too shy to really talk to many who I wish I would have.
If I go on my 48-state fishing trip I hope to see some of you around.
Keep up on this site and see you next reunion if not sooner.
Kris

Well, you made it around the sun again, that is great and congratulations and enjoy this year. Some have not lived to see this, Anthony Cottone, Mike Hutton just to name a few. My granddaughter transferred from K-State to UNCW, the head soccer coach would not play her, and all the other coaches quit. Happy Birthday.

After I lost my instructor contractor, became a old hippy, never had my hair long or a beard. Look like the "Mad Bomber" :)
