Michael Wayne Wilson passed into oblivion on October 12, 2024. He was born on February 26, 1955, in El Paso (Fort Bliss), Texas. His parents, now deceased, were Charles Edward Wilson and Margie Dale (Baker) Wilson of Kentucky. Mr. Wilson leaves no heirs.
Mr. Wilson attended eleven different schools, graduating from Harrison high School in Colorado Springs, May 1973. He completed his undergraduate degree in Business Administration-Marketing at Colorado State University-Pueblo in 1979. He then was employed by the State of Colorado, Department of Labor and Employment. He also was a volunteer for many cleft lip and cleft palate organizations, both in the United States and the United Kingdom.
One accomplishment of which he was proud was the creation of an organization whose purpose was the uniting of all graduating years of Harrison High School into one grand reunion. He, along with a dedicated committee, established the first all year's reunion in 2009 and again in 2012, at which point he resigned form the committee. Mr. Wilson also enjoyed national and international travel.
Being a true believer of personal choice, Mr. Wilson would prefer folks to donate to the charity of their choice, or provide flowers. There is no religious preference.
