Edwin Leslie Pennington
October 26, 1961 – January 3, 2023
Ed passed away peacefully at home after a long illness. He is preceded in death by his father, Clifford Pennington II; his mother Corinne Pennington; and his brother Scott Pennington.
He is survived by his sister, Debi Matheny (Lonnie); his daughter, Ariane Pennington; two granddaughters, Justice and Aubreyanna Pennington; a niece, Tami Matheny; and two nephews, Austin Matheny and Scott Pennington II.
Ed was a hard worker all his life. He had a fun sense of humor, and enjoyed playing pranks on his family. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting.
Ed really enjoyed being a “Papa” to his granddaughters. For all those who knew him, you had a special place in his heart.
There will not be a service, per Ed’s request.

Edwin who was also known as Ed, eddie, Eddie spaghetti, uncle, Papa and dad passed away with his daughter at his side. In his home just as he wanted. He is proceeded in death by his mother, Corinne Pennington; his father, Clifford Pennington; and his brother, Scott Pennington.
He is survived by his sister, Debi, (Lonnie) Matheny; his daughter, Ariane pennington; two granddaughters, Justice and Aubreyanna pennington; one niece, Tami Matheny; and two nephews Austin Matheny; and Scott Pennington II.
Ed was a hard worker his whole life. He loved his barbecue smoker, fishing, hunting, and the outdoors altogether.
And also really enjoyed being a grandpa "Papa". For those who knew ed, you all had a special place in his heart.
There will be a private ceremony held by family where his ashes will be placed in the ocean where he always wanted to be.
Ed did not wish to have a service but his family will be holding a little gathering at a later date. That date to be posted soon.
