Alexander Garcia passed away April 19, 2024, with Theresa, Nick and Amber by his side after a brief battle with cancer. He fought hard and never complained.
Alex was born November 6, 1960 to Ellijo and Berta Garcia in Frankfurt, Germany. He followed in his father's footsteps and joined the Air Force where he met his wife and soul mate Theresa Garcia while stationed at Offutt AFB, Nebraska. They just celebrated 36 years of marriage and were looking forward to full retirement to travel and to enjoy being together.
Alex was a staunch supporter of our Second Amendment rights and Conservative values. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and DSSA, and longtime member of Bridgeville Rifle and Pistol Club. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, camping, relaxing on the beach, walks in the woods and competing in Steel Shoot Competition at Nanicoke Sportsmans Club in Seaford.
He loved spending time with Theresa and encouraging her in her activities. This included hanging out with our country line dance friends at the Harrington Moose Lodge on Weds nights while Theresa line danced, dragging her kayaks to the beach and area lakes and ponds, and coaching her at Steel Shoot in Seaford and at IDPA competitions at Bridgeville Rifle and Pistol Club.
