Robert Joseph Aibner, 70, of Colorado Springs, CO passed away on August 23rd after an unexpected medical complication. He was surrounded by family and friends when he made his journey to Heaven.
Robert was born on July 21, 1953 in Colorado Springs to Andrew and Kathryn Aibner. After graduating from Harrison High School in 1971, he went on to mechanical school and built racecars for several years until he joined his parents at Andy's Meat Market. He always held a passion for cars and built his own hot rods for many years.
Robert married his wife, Karen, in 1978, and they had 2 children. He was a proud father and a devoted husband who spent his life taking care of family. He, his wife, and son were successful owners of Andy's until it closed in 2022 after the sudden passing of Karen.
Anyone who knew Robert experienced his huge heart and genuinely caring demeanor. He will forever be missed. Robert was predeceased by his wife, Karen, and his parents, Andrew and Kathryn. Robert is survived by his son Jonathan and wife Lacie, daughter Elizabeth and husband Joseph, sister Andrea and husband Jim, grandkids Nickolas and Azelyn, and extended family.
