Obituary for Chris Starks

Christopher Franklin Starks November 9, 1961 - September 20, 2024

Chris Starks (62) of Madisonville, Kentucky passed away in Huntsville, Texas surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Chris was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and pawpaw. Chris was a lover of the outdoors, cars, and his family and friends. His passion for cars led him into his career of working for General Motors, where he eventually retired earlier this year. When Chris wasn’t working, you could either find him at a Nascar race, out on a boat fishing, or spending time with his family. Chris was a friend to everyone that knew him and he did not know a stranger, giving the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He will be missed dearly by everyone that knew him.

Chris is survived by his wife Sherri, daughters Lauren Roberts (Tommy), Kristin Starks, granddaughter Karleigh (Roberts), mother Iredell Starks, younger brother Michael Starks and stepdaughters Elizabeth, Jessica, and Christina. Chris is preceded in death by his father Don Starks and older brother Wayne Starks.
