For 18 years, Peggy (Mahoney) Coffman was a second grade teacher at Cherrington Elementary School in Westerville. She was also an honorary member of the Westerville Rotary Club and a past committee member of the Westerville Relay for Life.

Michele Grau (Johnston)
Peggy, like the rest of her family, had a great sense of humor. For examlpe she said to me in eigth grade , "So Michele, who combed your hair, Helen Keller?' Of course this was a time before sensitivity training and political correctness... I miss those days. She was a good friend, wife and mother. I know her family misses her and her classmates miss her. Rest in peace Peggy.
Barbara Osborn (Bohan)
Peggy and I went to elementary as well as high school together. Those were the days when your parents would let you out at night to play. We used to play "hide & seek" and chase lightening bugs at her house with all her siblings. She was part of our "hood" and we had a great time together. Wonderful memories!

Peggy was a great girl. We went to elementary and high together. Nice family.
Everyone in their family had a lot of drive and passion to excel...and they did excel.
I carried newspapers (Dispatch) in 6th-7th grade. Her brothers Jack and Mike ALWAYS won the
new subscriber contests. Stunning number of new subscribers. Peggy was the same way. If
it was going to be done, it was going to be done right....and cheerfully She had a dog named Spot
whom she loved very much. It was a sad day when Spot went to heaven. Noe she is there....forever
healed and reunited with loved ones and her Maker.
Everyone who knew her was blessed along the way.
