James "Jim" Hallsteine, age 74, passed away on December 2, 2008.  He was born on April 23 1934 in Columbus, OH to the late William and Mary Hallsteine.  Jim retired from Allstate Insurance after 25 years of service and is a member of the Masonic Order, Westgate Lodge #623, West High School Alumni Association and is Chaplain of NAUS.  Jim also spent many years working for Meijer.  He truly touched the hearts of those he left behind.  He is preceded in death by his loving wife Dolores.  Jim is survived by children, Mark Hallsteine and Karen Vigue; brother, David (Charlyn) Hallsteine, sister-in-law Carole Albrecht; niece Angie (Sue Ulry) Albrecht; nephew, David (Debbie) Albrecht.  Also surviving is a host of other relatives including grandchildren; great grandchildren; great nieces and nephews; and special friends.  Visitation will be held on Thursday December 4, 2008 from 6-8 PM with Masonic services to begin at 7:30 PM at the SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City where funeral service will be held on Friday, December 5, 2008 at 1 PM.  Andrew Hoover, Funeral Celebrant officiating with interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to the Diabetes Society, 1100 Dennison Ave. 43201.
