National Republican Glee Club

American Harmony

With the advent of radio, television, celebrity performers and social media, the need for groups like the National Republican Glee club has declined and they have gradually faded away. We believe that we may be the last.. While no longer politically active, we are now dedicated to new missions. We will continue our fellowship of singing in public and private venues about the virtues of our country, performing  patriotic, Americana, Broadway, gospel, and popular styles of music wherever we go.

However, to continue as a relevant and vibrant performing arts group, it was decided in 2019 to change our name to American Harmony, recognizing the dedication and love that we have for our country and the passion that we feel singing about America. We believe that this change will help in the recruitment of new members as well as developing new venues and opportunities to spread the message of patriotism.  

 We believe in supporting worthy causes on the local and national level by performing at special events on their behalf and by contributing a portion of the proceeds from our performances.

 

We remain dedicated to educating about, and to preserving the history of singing and marching political campaign clubs and societies of all persuasions  through archival preservation of historical documents maintained since our founding almost 150 years ago.

 

 

That brings us to 150 years!
